I am debating on capitol punishment in a few days, and I was just wondering, for a kick-off, what you all thought about it. Is it justified? After all, 1 Peter 3:9 states, “Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing.” Do you think that it is inhumane for those facing capitol punishment to die slowly, in suffering? What about the death of Saddam Hussein?
